BROT · Non-confidential engineering screening

MLT Candidate-Well Screening Questionnaire

Provide only the information available at concept stage. Redacted well, pad, field and operator identifiers are acceptable. The purpose is to determine whether a multilateral architecture merits further engineering — not to request a complete well-design package.

Confidentiality: Do not upload or paste third-party proprietary documents unless you are authorized to share them. Sensitive identifiers may be redacted. Partial completion is acceptable for an initial screen.

What BROT returns from a completed screening input

Fit / no-fitInitial recommendation with assumptions and explicit disqualifiers.
Architecture basisOne or more MLT concepts and the preferred screening basis.
Interface mapPreliminary junction, completion, access and incumbent-service-company interfaces.
Next engineering gatePrincipal risks, missing evidence, responsibilities and recommended next-stage scope.

Architecture terminology: where “trilateral” is used, it means three reservoir-contact boreholes in total — mainbore/parent branch + Lateral 1 + Lateral 2. Other configurations can be entered below.

01. Contact and decision context

02. Development problem and success criteria

03. Intended multilateral architecture

Do not select a TAML level unless already specified by the operator. Describe the required well functionality and constraints. BROT will screen the candidate and recommend the appropriate architecture or alternatives.

09. Questions for BROT

BROT screening boundary

This questionnaire supports an initial, non-confidential candidate-well screening. It is not a detailed well design, operating procedure, equipment specification, quotation or assurance of performance. Any next-stage work requires an agreed scope, verified data, responsible technical authorities and applicable operator/service-company approvals.

10. Submission confirmation
